About Kanpai Group

Founded in 1999, Kanpai Group built its foundation with Yakiniku and focused on purchasing and utilizing full wagyu cattle. Kurogeya Honke was established in 2013 in pursuit of utilizing wagyu beef with hot pot. We carefully select fresh seasonal ingredients and provide authentic Japanese regional hot pot. In 2019, Kurogeya was established to introduce Kanpai Group’s delicacies at affordable prices, crafting everyday hot pot for gourmands.

History

2013

An orginal hot pot brand, Kurogeya Australian Wagyu specialty restaurant was launched.

2017

Started using premium Japanese Wagyu parts after Japanese Wagyu import ban lifted in 2017

2019

Kurogeya Civic Boulevard opened. An extension of KUROGEYA HONKE – the KUROGEYA brand was launched.

2023

Another extension of KUROGEYA HONKE – the KUROGEYA CLUB brand was launched. The Kurogeya Club Chiayi Nice Prince Hotel Opened

2025

There are 5 Kurogeya Honke, 13 Kurogeya, and 1 Kurogeya Club.
